Dog Residents

Molly

Molly was at the local animal shelter, but she was too scared and too traumatized to be adopted. She quickly came into her own and now loves people. Molly is house trained, can use a doggy door and would love to have a home of her own. She is available for adoption, but would work best in an only dog home.

Boone

Boone was found abandoned in the middle of Daniel Boone National Forest, when he was just 12 weeks old. I found him on a rutted, rarely used forest service road. He would have died left in the woods by himself, so he came back to Refuge Ridge.  While pretty friendly, he was in the woods for his socialization period and does have some personality quirks.

Bo

Bo came to us from the local animal shelter. His previous owners kept him chained up. He became wrapped in the chain and lost an ear and damaged his throat.

Bo always sounds as if he is grumbling or growling under his breath, but he loves everyone. And can be a bit over enthusiastic when people come to see him.

Bella

Bella was a stray rescued by a board member’s family. She came to live here after Ash’s first playmate was adopted. She is a great companion for him. They spend all day running and bouncing off each other. Bella is very friendly and loves everyone who comes to see her.
