Refuge Ridge is a non-profit organazation in Kentucky combing the welfare of children and animals to create a unique program in which both can flourish. Children participating in our Adventure based camps as well as our KIA program learn skills that not only build their self confidence, but also prepare them for their futures.

Our humane education programs teach the humane treatment of both animals and people. Adventure based camps teach kids teamwork and trust, while the KIA Program helps connect the humane treatment of both animals and humans in each lesson.

Our sanctuary program works with our environmental education program allowing children and adults alike to meet the relatives of animals that are being killed by our thoughtless treatment of the environment and its residents.
